Intelligence · AI assistant

AI for accounting firms, with you in charge

The FigsFlow AI assistant drafts the routine writing, summarises long threads and suggests next steps, using the client record it is working on. Every draft is labelled, every suggestion can be edited or discarded, and nothing is sent without a person deciding to send it.

  • Drafts, not decisions
  • Labelled every time
  • Grounded in the client record

The problem

Too much writing, not enough accounting

Replies, summaries, requests and proposal wording eat hours every week. General AI tools help, but they do not know the client and they live outside your systems.

Generic AI tools

  • Client details pasted into a separate chat
  • No knowledge of the engagement or history
  • Output copied back by hand
  • No record of what was AI-assisted

The FigsFlow AI assistant

  • Works inside the client record
  • Uses the engagement, jobs and history
  • Drafts appear where you will use them
  • Every AI-assisted action is labelled

How it works

A starting point, never the last word

  1. Ask

Ask for a summary, a draft or a suggestion from the record you are working on.

  2. Draft

The assistant drafts using the client’s engagement, jobs and correspondence.

  3. Review

You edit, keep or discard it. Drafts are clearly marked as drafted with AI.

  4. Decide

Only a person sends, approves or files. The audit trail records who did.

What you get

An AI assistant for accountants

Help with the writing and reading around the work. The professional judgement stays with your firm.

01

Thread summaries

Long email threads and notes summarised into what was asked and agreed.

02

Reply drafts

Client replies drafted in your firm’s tone, ready for you to edit.

03

Request wording

Clear, plain-English records requests drafted from the job.

04

Proposal help

Suggested services and wording from what the client has told you.

05

Next-step suggestions

Suggested follow-ups you can accept, change or ignore.

06

Labelled and logged

Every AI-assisted draft is marked and recorded in the audit trail.

Clear limits

It drafts and suggests. It never advises.

The assistant helps with communication and organisation. It does not give tax or accounting advice, and it does not exercise professional judgement on your behalf.

That is a design choice: the practitioner is always in charge, and every AI-assisted step says so.

FAQ

Questions firms ask us

Does the AI assistant give tax or accounting advice?

No. The assistant drafts and suggests. It does not give tax or accounting advice, and it does not exercise professional judgement. Your firm stays responsible for the advice it gives.

Can the assistant send anything on its own?

No. Every draft needs a person to review and send it. Nothing is sent to a client automatically.

How do we know what was drafted with AI?

Every AI-assisted draft is labelled as drafted with AI, and its use is recorded in the audit trail.

Can we switch it off?

Yes. Administrators control whether the assistant is on and who can use it.
