The problem

Deadlines are fixed. Visibility usually is not.

When jobs live in a spreadsheet and a few inboxes, the first sign of trouble is a client asking where their work is. By then the date is close.

Running jobs by spreadsheet

  • Next year’s work is set up by hand, every year
  • Status is whatever someone last typed
  • Review happens when a manager remembers to ask
  • Partners find out late that a deadline is at risk

Running jobs in FigsFlow

  • Recurring jobs create themselves on schedule
  • Stages move as the work moves
  • Review is a step in the job, not an afterthought
  • The deadline radar shows risk weeks ahead

How it works

From signed letter to signed off

  1. Create

Jobs are created from the agreed services when the letter is signed, with owners and target dates.

  2. Work

Tasks and checklists guide the preparer. Time is recorded against the job as it goes.

  3. Review

Submit for review in one click. The reviewer sees exactly what changed and signs off.

  4. Repeat

On completion, the next period’s job is created automatically for recurring work.

Everything about a job on one screen

Owner, reviewer, target date, the client’s outstanding records, time recorded and the fee agreed. Nobody needs to ask where a job is up to.

When the client uploads what was missing, the job moves out of blocked and the preparer is told.

FAQ

Questions firms ask us

How does recurring work get created?

When a recurring job is completed, FigsFlow creates the next period's job from the same template, with the owner and target date already set.

Can we change the stages a job goes through?

Yes. Stages, their names and their order are set by your firm. Most firms keep a review stage before anything is released to a client.

Can we bring our existing jobs across?

Yes. Import open jobs from a spreadsheet export and FigsFlow shows a preview before anything is committed.

Does FigsFlow know the deadlines in my country?

Your firm sets target dates. Where country deadline sets are available, they can be added on top. Check the availability page for your country.
