Run the work · Dashboard

An accounting firm dashboard partners actually open

Four numbers that matter, a deadline radar and a short list of decisions waiting for you. FigsFlow reads them live from the same record the work runs on, so nobody builds a report on a Friday afternoon.

  • Live, not monthly
  • Role-aware views
  • Decisions, not charts

The problem

By the time the report is built, it is out of date

Most firm reporting is a spreadsheet stitched together from three systems at month end. It answers last month’s questions, slowly.

Month-end reporting

  • Numbers copied from separate systems
  • A wall of charts nobody acts on
  • Risks spotted after the deadline has passed
  • Every partner asks for a slightly different version

The FigsFlow dashboard

  • Read live from the record the work runs on
  • Four numbers and a list of decisions
  • A deadline radar that looks ahead
  • Views shaped by each person’s role

How it works

Open it, decide, get on with the day

  1. Glance

Four KPIs chosen for your role: fees in progress, pipeline, due soon and unbilled WIP.

  2. Look ahead

The deadline radar shows what is due and which jobs are at risk, and why.

  3. Decide

Approvals, write-offs and sign-offs waiting for you, each one click away.

  4. Drill in

Click any number to see the jobs, clients or proposals behind it.

What you get

A KPI dashboard for accounting firms

Deliberately short. Everything on it is something you can act on today.

01

Four live KPIs

The numbers that tell a partner how the firm is doing, without a spreadsheet.

02

Deadline radar

Every target date ahead, sorted by risk, with the reason each job is flagged.

03

Needs your decision

Approvals, write-offs and reviews waiting for you, in the order they matter.

04

Role-aware views

Partners, managers and preparers each see the numbers that fit their job.

05

Drill-down everywhere

Every figure links to the jobs, clients or proposals that make it up.

06

Team and office filters

See the whole firm or one team or office with a single filter.

Why it stays current

No reconciliation, because there is one record

The dashboard reads the same client record as the CRM, the jobs and the invoices. When a proposal is accepted or a job is signed off, the numbers move.

For deeper analysis, the same data feeds the reporting module and, if you need it, your own BI tools through the API.

Where it sits

Every stage, on one screen

The dashboard is a window onto the whole lifecycle, from the first enquiry to the last unpaid invoice.

FAQ

Questions firms ask us

How often are the numbers updated?

Live. The dashboard reads the same client record as the rest of FigsFlow, so figures change as soon as the work does.

Can we choose what each person sees?

Each role sees a sensible default, and your firm decides which views and figures each role can see.

How does the deadline radar decide a job is at risk?

A job is flagged when something makes its target date unlikely: missing client records, an overloaded owner, no review booked or work not started in time.

Can we build our own reports too?

Yes. Use the reporting module for detailed analysis, or the API to send the data to your own BI tool.
