A client portal for accountants that clients actually use

Your clients see one short list of things to do, in plain English, under your firm’s name. They sign, upload and reply in minutes on any device, and every response lands on the client record your team works from.

  • Your logo, your colours
  • Plain English throughout
  • Built for phones first

The problem

Most portals are a window into the back office

Clients do not want job codes, percentages and folders. They want to know what you need, do it quickly, and know it arrived.

A back-office login

  • Internal jargon clients do not understand
  • A folder tree to upload into
  • Progress shown as a percentage
  • No confirmation that anything was received

A portal built for clients

  • Plain English, one question at a time
  • A short list of things to do, nothing else
  • Named stages: in preparation, in review, ready
  • “Received, nothing more needed” after every step

How it works

A notification, a link, done

  1. Notify

Your client gets a short email or text telling them exactly what is needed.

  2. Open

One secure link opens the portal on their phone or computer, under your brand.

  3. Act

They sign, upload, answer or approve, one step at a time with large, clear targets.

  4. Confirm

They see it was received, and the response lands on the client record and the job.

What you get

A secure client portal for accounting firms

Designed for the typical client: busy, often on a phone, and not interested in how your firm works inside.

01

Your firm’s brand

Your logo, colours and name. FigsFlow is one quiet line in the footer.

02

Things to do

Signatures, uploads, questions and approvals in one short, ordered list.

03

Your work, in stages

Clients see named stages for their work, never internal codes or percentages.

04

Secure messages

Conversations with the person looking after their affairs, filed to the record.

05

Shared documents

Final accounts, signed letters and invoices, in one place, always available.

06

Accessible by default

Large text, generous targets, no time-outs, and answers that save as they go.

Two surfaces, one record

Your team sees a job. Your client sees their work.

The firm app and the portal read the same record but speak different languages. “Awaiting review, 45%” becomes “in manager review”. A statutory deadline becomes your firm’s target date.

Every portal string is written for the client, so internal terminology never reaches them.

Where it sits

Where the client plays their part

The portal is where proposals are accepted, letters signed, onboarding completed, records sent and invoices paid.

Live for every firm

  • Branded portal, things to do and messages
  • Signatures, uploads and approvals
  • Named stages for the client’s work

Depends on your country

FAQ

Questions firms ask us

Whose brand does the client see?

Your firm's. You set the logo, colours and name. FigsFlow appears as a single line in the footer.

Do clients need to download anything?

No. Clients open the portal from a secure link in an email or text. Clients who use it often can choose to sign in.

What can clients see?

Only what you share with them: their things to do, the stages of their work, messages, and documents you choose to share.

Is the portal easy for older or less confident clients?

Yes. Body text and buttons are large by default, there are no time-outs, answers save as they go, and every status has a word as well as a colour.
