E-signature · Canada
E-signature for accountants, with every signature evidenced on the client record
Send one engagement letter or four hundred. Each signatory gets their own link, signs on a phone with no account to create, and in the order you set. The firm countersigns where your approvals require it, and the signed copy, the signing certificate and the full trail file themselves to the client record.
✓Launch offer to February 28, 2027 · free, no card · see the plans ↓Built inside working firms, for Canadian CPA practices from sole practitioners to multi-office firms.
Illustrative example. The company, the people and the times are fictional.
See it work
Watch one letter get signed.
Send the letter, sign it on a phone and watch it land back on the client record, with the certificate and the trail beside it.
- Own link per signatory
- Signed on a phone
- Certificate and trail
- Filed to the record
Where signing goes wrong
Nobody decides to leave a letter unsigned. It happens because signing sits outside the letter.
A PDF, an inbox and a photograph of page four. Here is what that costs.
Open any card to see its fix, or switch them all at once.
“Sorry, phone camera!”
The client prints it, signs it and photographs page four at an angle. You cannot file it, or prove when it was signed.
The fix. The client signs the letter itself, in a browser, on any phone.
Two polite chases, from two different inboxes.
Nobody knows who chased last, so the client gets three emails or none.
The fix. Reminders go out on a schedule, in your firm’s name, and stop on signature.
One director signed. The other never saw it.
The letter was forwarded once, and the work started on half a signature.
The fix. Each signatory is notified separately, and the letter completes only when all have signed.
Export, upload, drag the boxes on, download.
The signing tool knows nothing about the letter, the signatories or the work that should now start.
The fix. Signing happens inside the letter, with signatories from the client record.
The signed copy is in someone’s Downloads folder.
It was saved “somewhere sensible”. Nobody agrees where.
The fix. The signed copy files itself to the client record and your own SharePoint.
“When was it signed, and by whom?”
At file review, the answer is an email thread and a best guess.
The fix. Certificate, timestamps and the IP record are held with the signed copy.
How e-signature should work
Sent once. Signed in order. Filed without anyone touching it.
One joinery company, two directors and a partner countersignature, start to finish.
- Tuesday 14:06
Each signatory gets their own link, sent in your firm’s name.
- Wednesday 09:12
No app and no account. Opened from the email, read and signed.
- Wednesday 11:02
The letter completes only when every client signatory has signed.
- Wednesday 11:20
The certificate is issued, the signed copy files itself, and the first job opens.
Sample client. Reminders are scheduled from the moment it is sent.
The signing record
Every signature carries its own evidence. Nobody has to assemble it later.
Who signed, in what order, when, and from where, held with the signed copy on the client record. What gets signed, and when it is released, is set on the engagement letter; this is how it gets signed.
Every signatory, in the order you set
Directors sign first, the firm countersigns last. Each person is notified separately, and the letter completes only when everyone has signed.

The evidence, in one place
The signed document, a signing certificate, timestamps for every action and the IP record, stored together in the form you will want if anyone asks.
A partner approves first
On the Team and Practice plans, a letter can be routed for approval before it reaches the client. Who approved, and when, stays on the record.
Signed means pinned
The signed version is the one on file. A later change is a new document, signed separately and linked to the original.
Signatures on both sides
The client signs electronically and the firm countersigns where your approvals require it. E-signatures are not metered on any plan.
Every action recorded
Sent, opened, signed and countersigned, each with its time. When someone asks you to evidence the engagement, the answer is already on file.
88 reviews
Not a lack of clients. A letter that went out, and never came back signed.
On a phone
Signed on a phone, with no account to create.
The letter opens in a browser from the email. It works one-handed on the bus, which is where a surprising number of engagement letters actually get signed.
- No app to install, just a browser link, opened once.
- No account to create, so no password, no reset email and no support call.
Bulk send
Four hundred letters, one board to watch.
Select the clients, pick the template, and every letter goes out with its own terms and signatories. You watch them come back on one board, not in four hundred email threads.
- Signed, opened and not opened at a glance, and each one opens to its own trail.
- Made for annual re-engagement before busy season, for the whole book in one send.
Reminders
It chases, so nobody has to.
On a schedule you set, in your firm’s name, until it is signed or you stop it. The reminders are polite, they stop the moment the signature arrives, and every one is on the record.
- Sent from your own domain, so the client sees your firm, not ours.
- The history sits on the letter, so nobody sends a fourth reminder by accident.
Sole practitioner · low volume, high consequence
Six letters a month, each one signed before you have had to chase.
- No account for the client to create
- Reminders that stop on signature
Small firm · one way of signing
One template the firm agreed, and the signed copy always lands in the same place.
- Signed copies filed to the client record
- Not a migration project
Growing firm · unsigned, right now
A list, not a recollection, and bulk re-engagement for the whole book in one send.
- Signed, opened and not opened on one board
- Work does not start on an unsigned letter
Larger firm · a control, not a convenience
Countersignature named and in order, with a trail still readable two years later.
- Partner approval before the client sees it
- Evidence on demand for practice inspection
Signatories and approvals
Every signatory, in the order you set.
Add both directors, set the order, and have a partner countersign. Each signatory is notified separately, and the letter completes only when everyone has signed.
- A later change is its own signed document, linked to the original rather than written over it.
- A wet signature when a client insists: upload the scanned copy and mark it signed, and it files to the same record.
Where it connects
Five connections, one signed record.
A signature should not live in a separate signing account. Pick a connection to see what signing writes back: the signed copy, the client’s view, the letter it came from, the work it opens and the bill that follows.
Just written to the record
Sample client, shown for illustration.
SharePoint
Signed copies, in your own tenant.
- The signed copy, certificate and trail file to your own SharePoint, under your retention rules.
- Notifications go out through your Microsoft 365 or your own sending domain.
- Nothing is exported and re-uploaded.
Why this one
Not e-signature built for accountants. E-signature built by them.
Built inside a working practice that had started work on letters still unsigned, chased clients from personal inboxes and filed photographs of page four. Every check in it exists because somebody got caught out by its absence.
